Marching bands, beautifully lit floats and groups on foot move along Route 1 to the Groton Shopping Plaza, as guests line the streets to sneak a peak. Participants are judged in four categories: Finest Illumination, Sounds of the Season, Most Creative, and Best Children’s entry. After the parade, Santa Claus lights the Christmas tree. The evening ends with caroling and photos with Santa and live music.
